Alexander worked as a development engineer at IWW Water Centre from 1998-2000 and as lead engineer for development of advanced measurement technology at DR. SCHENK from 2000-2006.

In 2006 he joined Linde Engineering and held positions in systems and process engineering in the field of hydrogen technology. Alexander acted as lead process engineer for several hydrogen plants built in the EMEA region. Since 2021 he has been Senior Expert for water electrolysers and green hydrogen plants at Linde’s Center of Competence for EMEA.

Alexander received his master’s and PhD degree in Chemical Engineering from Technical University of Munich in 1995 and 1998, respectively.
